About Us – Borno State Ministry of Justice
The Borno State Ministry of Justice is the principal legal organ of the Borno State Government, tasked with the administration of justice, legal advisory services, and upholding the rule of law. The Ministry ensures the effective delivery of legal services to the government and the public, supports the criminal justice system, and promotes access to justice for all.
It plays a vital role in law reform, prosecution, legal drafting, civil litigation, and the protection of citizens’ rights. Through its departments and affiliated agencies, the Ministry works to build a fair, transparent, and accountable legal system that underpins peace, stability, and good governance in Borno State.

Maiduguri, Borno State - The Government of Borno State, in collaboration with I Concept Dot Net, launched a three-day workshop on Child Protection Law (CPL) for stakeholders across the state.
The Borno State Ministry of Justice is the legal arm of the state government, responsible for upholding the rule of law, promoting justice, and providing legal guidance across all levels of governance. We are committed to ensuring that justice is accessible, fair, and transparent for every citizen of Borno State.
